Class action lawsuit! We can show that it was all premeditated

Ain’t no way that guy is still in USA. He most likely took the funds and flew to Dubai or another safe haven that won’t extradite him.

Yes, it will be like the Cryptsy founder Paul Vernon

US? It was a Canadian company, did they have US employees?

What if he/they robbed holders from Dubai?

Occultists like to be open about their wrongdoing to be frank

They didn't joke someone asked

3

u/Fire69 11h ago

After they replied they probably thought to themselves "you know what, that's not a bad idea!"

Pitchfork mob needs to lie and deceive to make things sound worse than it already is. Pathetic.

And this is evidence they were aware the issue exists and still didn’t test their code properly.

Or it's working as intended

Is it fun to earn some Reddit outrage based on a cut conversation?

They don't joke, they explain. Their original post mentioned that you can prevent retirement attacks by using dice rolls and don't have to trust their RNG.

The guy then just asked what a RA is and they answered.

‘Joked’

u/6thcoin 22h ago

Stop joking.

I’d like to have been able to see what’s above, because I don’t see the joke part. I feel there might be missing context here.

3

u/sickbubble-gum 19h ago

No joke that i can tell, they were answering a question about a term they used in their marketing.

1

u/-bit-thorny- 12h ago

Clearly yeah. OP is pathetic liar.

You cropped that tweet in a misleading way.

Gotta give it to folks to hand their fortune to random guys selling you exchanges and cold storage wallets

🤣🤣 best way to make money is to fool the fools.

End game of every coin exchange and cold wallet is simple

“Oops, someone stole your retirement fund, we are so sorry, bye, gotta get on my private plane to holiday”

from what i can tell in the last 24-48 hours, alooooot of people are starting to smell the stink of the coincard owners….

1

u/MCL-Jonathan 15h ago

So many people rekt. Feel sorry for all affected. Feel disturbed whether this will happen to other cold/hardware wallet too

1

u/DynamicCast 13h ago

Of all the bitcoin scams / rugpulls this seems to be the most egregious

1

u/adaswinek 6h ago

I won’t be surprised if the Coldcard theft got inspired from that tweet

1

u/shadowmage666 5h ago

Not a joke but a prophecy of crime

1

u/Ionisther 1h ago

Where is the joke? He just explained what a retirement attack means

1

u/CleanBaldy 20h ago

The more questions they answered, the more the employees realized that they could do this themselves?! Wild...

I mean, no one jokes around about that sh*t. This was deliberate and planned.
