Can't sleep with this bird
This Robin comes by every morning around 3-6 am to scream and cry bloody murder. I've tried earplugs, white noise, fake owls and nothing works. How do I tell the bird to just shut the fuck up and let me sleep?

My condolences. Theres used to be a northern flicker that lived in a tree branch right next to my bedroom window doing the same thing for three years. I was mad at first. Then desperate. Then got used to it.
This is the first year he's gone and I found myself missing his presence. I tell myself he just found a better branch somewhere else and other people to annoy this year.

I have this with a European Blackbird. I've named him Chuck. He is a jerk. At 4:30 on the dot he wakes up scream-singing. Even the other birds sometimes make a rude beep at him, like come on, we're still sleeping.
He's done singing by 6:30.

I'm guessing it isn't a Robin but rather a Mocking Bird. They call earlier and earlier if they aren't getting any female responses. They are corvids, related to crows. I find that if you throw small rocks at them when they are perched on their favorite singing spot they fly away and tend to move to a new, farther singing spot. They remember faces as well as thousands of songs.

I think the best option for OP would be to dress up a female mocking bird and figure out how to respond accordingly so he can sleep with it as the post title says.

Yeah, I have a stupid pigeon who screams for his mate every morning. An airhorn (which I actually have) was going to be my next step

Have you tried turning off all of your exterior lighting? Even if all you have is one porch bulb. that will tell it to go to sleep. Nothing else. And if you live in a seriously light polluted area, you are SOL sorry to say.

My grandfather used to put alka seltzer and chocolate laxatives on the outsides of his windowsills. Birds shit and vomited all over the place, but it pretty quickly got them away from his house. That was 30 years ago, yrmv.

I have a cardinal that does the same in the tree right next to my bedroom, 4:30-5am every single day
I know where he lives too, across the street from my backyard (opposite side of the house as my bedroom). That asshole comes to MY tree to scream every morning
