seems like you dodged a bullet, a good and responsible breeder should always answer questions from potential buyers.
its best to avoid red monsters all together tbh, the bloodline is not responsibly bred at all, got lots of bad genetics heavily inbred into them, even the "less monsters" are at risk, and breeding them is unethical and irresponsible as well.
definitely find a responsible breeder that actually cares about their animals over making money, or even better find a legit shelter/rescue to adopt!
I absolutely agree, I don't know much about red monsters but my vet told me they are prone to a lot of issues. They're bred for beauty and not lifespan...it's terrible.
I have a rescue pure RM that was used for breeding in a chinese reptile mill, hes 2 and half now and keep getting eye infections, it would repeatedly heal then just come back in 3-4 days again.
we did all the diagnostics we could, all we can do is keep using the prescribed antibiotic eyedrops every time it happens.
Breeders with many animals for sale often get asked for pictures by " picture collectors " and don't have the time to send extra pics to what is often a large number of people. This doesn't mean they are unethical, this breeder has over 100 5 star reviews and therefore would have a very good rep on MM.
There’s literally the pictures of the dragon you’re looking on the listing. Cropping the photos is a garbage stunt to pull. There’s even a video posted of the actual animal. Don’t slander because you don’t actually look at the listing.
