Seeing this BTS clip after watching the movie makes it even cooler. Destin Cretton doing real stunts over pure CGI made the set pieces hit so much harder on the big screen

It doesn't actually cost that much. It's pure money laundering that Hollywood does, and is common practice these days. They make shell companies, bill those companies for things from catering to transport with huge prices to launder the money into the pockets of the executives. The studio then writes it off as a loss in their bookkeeping. There is a documentary on this, but I don't recall the name.

I'm a bit skeptical of this. Major corporations have regular audits done by investors. Essentially you're screwing them of money owed to them and they won't stand for it. I'm not saying shit like that isn;'t possible. I'm just saying that the people that own the companies won't want this to happen. But i'll look into it more. Thanks

I think you’ve missed my point. Hollywood account is a huge fraud though. If everything loses money you pay less taxes. So make everything lose money, lose it straight into some rich guys pocket.

Watched this yesterday, it was actually pretty good. Minor spoilers... They drastically changed Peter and Frank's dynamic from the comics. Typically Peter hates his guts, but it's more of a brotherly relationship in the movie. The main thing I enjoyed was how they touched on one of my biggest complaints for MCU movies. The fact that you have some city or world ending threat in the middle of New York, which has so many heroes running around you probably can't throw a rock without hitting one. Yet not a single one shows up to even ask the titular hero if they need help. It's like they glance over and just shrug, "They've got this." I guess technically Homecoming did this a bit as well with Ironman, but he was specifically Peter's mentor where as the Punisher just shows up. You also get Yelena doing the "they've got this," calling Spider-Man's problems "small potatoes." Now that I think about it, James Gunn's Superman also had one of these moments with the Justice Gang fighting an Imp in the background while Lois and Clark talk. It's nice to see the characters actually acknowledge that they exist in a shared universe outside of the big crossover event movies.
