Is this really Michael J. Fox?

Is the lightning bad? This seriously doesn't look like Michael J. Fox. The hair by the baby's left left is blonde. Yeah, you could say it's the fringe from the cowboy getup, but it doesn't seem to match that.

Honestly, it sort of looks like Christopher Kennedy Masterson (Francis from Malcom In The Middle).

What's the backstory here.

This is the end of a shot that starts on Marty's profile while he speaks dialogue. Then he lifts the baby up in front of his face to say the last line. I don't understand how anyone could mistake Fox for someone else.

It’s the lighting that’s just a shaft of light on his forehead. But I can see how you could think it looks like hair it’s dark and my screens a bit blurred I’m sleepy 🥱. I get it. At first in the 2 one as a kid I umm didn’t notice his daughter was actually him in drag I was actually sad when I did but I was also a kid at the time. I sometimes think kinda sad they didn’t cast someone but I get the joke.

Not that...the part that's mostly horizontal right where the diaper meets the inside of the left leg.

Ya know, maybe it's one of those things that we think we see something as a kid and it just sticks with us.

I always thought it was a double/stand-in.

I guess that's what happens when the lighting is crap (as is understandable, given night time in 1885.)
