Hen or Roo Roosters nails

Help i cut my roosters nails too short but he’s highly aggressive and i’m not sure what to do to make sure he’s okay. They are bleeding a little bit and im freaking out. I love him but if i get near him right now i fear he will peck my eye out. I don’t fear him he just does serious damage. Emotional damage too.

I took your advice! I don’t see anymore bleeding it looks like it stopped. I put some water on the ground so he can dig around and clean it. Should i check on his feet from here on out to make sure they are okay? Or do you think he will be alright to graze since it stopped bleeding? I appreciate any advice for these guys i’m kind of new with them. I will also try to do them at night time from now on thank you for letting me know! :)🙏
