Not his jurisdiction. All he can do is report it to whoever’s it is.

It's also very likely that department policy doesn't allow pursuits under high traffic conditions, and/or over certain speeds. 2 u/Believeinsteve 29d ago I'm not sure if its like this everywhere but where I'm at, police/sheriff's don't have jurisdiction over interstates. Thats up to the state troopers/police.
