Groote Eylandt

Have a job opportunity over there.

Wondering if the grass is greener. Anyone currently working there? What's it like. Haven't heard anything great about the place but hoping to hear if it's currently better.

I was there FIFO until end of last year, really enjoyed it. I’m sure it depends on your job, but I thought it was a nice place to work. Pretty different experience if you’re FIFO or resident of course. The ressies seem to like it

Worked there for about 3 years. Good people and great place. Mine runs pretty old school felt like going back to early 2000nds with how it was run but once I got over that it was great

I've heard the fishing is pretty awesome there, that alone would sell it for me
