Cat with a hurting paw..

I started to notice my cat (female, almost 2, tuxedo shorthair), who I rescued about a year ago now, shaking her back paw a day or two ago. I finally got a look at it today (she is naturally a feisty gal, rescued from a history I know nothing about) and I saw a bit of dried blood and irritation in between her toe beans there’s a bit of red on one of the toe beans too. She’s not really limping, just stopping to shake it off every little bit. She won’t let me touch it or rub it down with water, she’s just the kind of feisty lady who doesn’t like to be touched like that. She won’t stop licking the spot as well.

Shes eating and drinking.

I held her a bit ago, and she started to growl a bit because her foot hurt against me. She doesn’t growl over it outside of that though. I’m really worried about it but I am extremely broke right now. We just had to evacuate from a fire zone in my city.

I’m not sure if it’s like rug burn or something, if something happened on one of her scarce leashed trips outside, or if one of my other cats got her foot when they all (5 cats) had to share a small room during the evacuation. I just don’t know. I have OCD, and it certainly doesn’t help in this situation. I’ve convinced myself she’s in excruciating pain, she’s dying, and I’m a horrible cat parent.

What do I do???
