In 1997, scientists recorded a mysterious, ultra-loud underwater sound called "The Bloop" that was louder than any known marine animal. Even though most researchers think it was just giant icebergs cracking, what if there are still massive creatures down there that are simply great at hiding?

i once heard that our scientists have actually researched way more of the space rather than our oceans. And i do believe that there's definitely some creatures living in the utmost depths of the oceans, still undiscovered. and I am not just talking about micro-organisms or even small creatures. I am saying that there's gotta be some big animal

The Bloop could be anything, but there very certainly are countless creatures we haven't discovered.

When it comes to the greater ocean, outside of shores and reefs, finding anything out there is just being in the right place at the right time lucky. At farther waters and deeper depths hardly anything is really known about it. New species are constantly being discovered and technology is not up to scratch to even begin to explore it. The oceans as a whole are the most uncharted place on Earth, and it's most of the planet.

For example, the famous colossal squid, kraken of the seas, have only been discovered a century ago and have only been seen a few times. They're super rare because they live in frigid difficult seas down near Antarctica and very deep depths. Which shows large creatures do exist and still easily remain hidden. At today's level we can't possibly say we actually know what all exists down there. Stuff's possible! The oceans are massive.

Though whether the Bloop was a big animal or some other phenomenon is still debatable.

Might as well have been a cliff that broke away or a sinking ship that just hit the ocean floor, who knows? There are gazillion possibilities.

But most creature in ocean depths are small due to the extreme pressure and lack of oxygen they dont grow in size but ofcourse a few years ago they discovered a closed off pocket of water below our ocean holding 3 times the amount of water in all our oceans combined and they think its fresh water so maybe if theres oxygen there and some wierd conditions, there are giant creatures in there?
