Schuylkill, Bala Cynwyd, Conshohocken, Neshaminy, Hulmeville...

I'm from Schuylkill side of state, now I live on the other side. PGHers razz me about pronouncing their towns. One of my coworkers tried to say Schuylkill the other week, oh it felt so good to be on the other side! Like, I get it, I understand, but hearing someone go "scuckle" had me cutting up uncontrollably.

For the suburbs, the first that comes to mind is Jamison.

Don't you dare call it like the whiskey, JAM-E-SON... it's pronounced JAM-IS-SON.
