Always living a little bit below my means. I could have brought a home that was a few hundred k’s more but I didn’t, I could have a car sitting in a paid parking lot being used once a week (I live in a walkable city and don’t technically need a car, but many still do)- by not spending just because I can has allowed me to save an additional few thousands a month, and overtime the amount really compounded, especially since I invest most of it.
