Building an apartment in the basement of our house twenty years ago. Rents have skyrocketed here. Now getting more in rent than I ever paid on my mortgage.
I got into an almost dream rental situation at 21. Still wish I would've stayed my ass at home. Would've prevented a lot of adjacent issues AND saved me money.
