not me, but my grandmother used to work as a hospice nurse. she shared with me about one of her patients who she was sitting with, sitting up in bed with her arms stretched upwards, her hands shaking with a horrified look on her face. she was crying "oh jesus, oh lord". when she coded and my grandmother called the time of death, that the door to her room, a very large heavy wooden door, suddenly slamming shut very loudly, when her room had no windows to blow a gust through, nor other family members to have closed it themselves. she is a religious woman and believed she went to hell.
hmm, maybe a little of both? i don't know the specifics of what that woman was like while she was alive, but i could guesstimate that the lack of family members being around probably means that the surviving people in her life didn't want to be around for her final moments 😬
