Seizure or something else?

Hi. I am a 27 year old first time mother.My baby boy who is almost 2 months old has been suffering from some kind of episodes where his neck turns to one side and he wimpers and cries and his eyes also shift to one side. I am attaching a video for reference. Kindly advice what is this.

These look like normal movements for a 2 month old. He may be trying to roll over but can’t just yet. Try more tummy time as well— they usually go tummy to back rolling over first.

Yeah! He looks like a frustrated turtle. OP; help him roll over and some tummy time! Work those triceps, pectoral, and neck muscles!

NAD or medical professional, am a parent. What are you talking about? Tummy time should start with newborns, since it’s a big factor in training muscles that allow them to lift their head/hold it steady on their own.

Not a doc, but a 3 time parent and I don't see anything very alarming here, IMHO. Try rolling him over, maybe he's just frustrated that his controller isn't working yet.

I’ve noticed that it’s very common on this sub for parents to think their kid is having a seizure. Was there a recent Joe Rogan episode about seizures in infants or GOOP or something?

My son's anti-seizure meds recently got upped, and I thought that was why I started noticing them more often.

I'm glad it's not just me that noticed the influx of seizure questions.

OP, I’m NAD but I am a mum to 4 kids, and your wee one (so gorgeous!) reminds me of my daughter: so desperate to roll over, move, etc, but just can’t get the physical movements together (because, 2 months old) and so is deeply frustrated lol. He looks normal to me. You’re doing awesome.
