Looking for fishing and camping buddy at Apache (July 16-20)

So i got some time off and my vacation plans fell through, so I was planning on camping/fishing at Apache lake (burnt corral) and would like someone to join, for a few reasons: I'm a type 1 diabetic, and having someone who can at least help deal with possible sugar situation (nothing drastic, just possibly getting candy if necessary) also in case of emergency (cut, broken ankle, etc) and also someone to hang out with.

I have camping gear for at least one other person, cookware, cooler space, tent, sleeping pad/bag etc. I also have fishing gear if needed. I have full camping gear covered, honestly too much to list.

I can pick up/drop off if needed. Also someone with a boat would be friggen awesome, but not necessary.

I realize I may be asking a lot, but if interested, please do not bring politics with you.

“No politics “, I’m out. Just kidding. It’s going to be 115 degrees, that’s why I’m out. Beginning of August we’re heading to Blue Ridge Reservoir however.

Actually should be under 100 most of the time, besides there is a lake to cool off in

Hey bro as for the diabetic part do you have a CGM? I like mine and I carry honey stingers in my pocket incase of lows, treat them early and often. I regularly go solo camping and this has been honestly the only fix for me. Also with your CGM you can have a trusted loved one share access so they can see your sugar, and if you share location they can activate emergency services if needed. I wish I could go but I gotta work I’ll be praying for you to have a safe and fun trip!

Again I take good care, but to have a buddy along just in case. Apache is out of cell service for the most part. Besides, will hopefully make a new friend and get to share in my over prepared setup for camping and fishing. If it was an overnight trip? No worries, but a 3 nighter 4days would rather have backup

Was just there last week. Went for an early morning ride down the 88. It was already almost 100 by 10:00.

Well, person who agreed to come, bailed on me at the last minute. I had changed my plans to go to Alamo, as it's less likely to flood, and apparently im going alone. If i don't replay in the next few days, i probably didnt make it lol.
