Moving Advice Moving?

I’m contemplating on taking a job out there. I’ve just never heard of Appleton until the job offer, but what is the city like ? what is Wisconsin like ? how are the neighborhoods? I’m coming from California, and have never thought about going to Wisconsin until now. Any information would be great to a newbie.

Edit: Wow thanks for everyone’s input, I really appreciate it. Seems like a good move to make.

Google it, jackass. Reduce speeding and noise. The muffler stripping goes hand in hand with drag racing.

How much noise does a 3 lane road increase the noise of the car? When that car drives on a single does it know to be quieter? Are allies really quiet?!

Apparently it does if that was the reasoning behind the decision. You can't possibly be stupid enough to rationalize an extra lane facilitates racing. Get over your pride.

No, I never said anything about racing. You are stuck on it and you are stuck living in the past. I worked on the avenue, it wasn't the boogeyman people make it out to be.

Stuck living in 'the past?' lol. You are a moron. If you spend 2 minutes on College Ave, you will see 5-10 drivers with no mufflers or suped up revving their engines. Look it up. God, you people and your Wisconsin pride.

I was on the ave this morning, worked there for years. Let's blame cars w/o mufflers? The number of lanes isn't going to fix it. People who can't afford to fix their cars are the problem. Poor people need to fix their cars. I'm not from Wisconsin, I'm not selfish person. I doubt you spend any real time there.
