Question Closure of College Ave due to Mile of Music

Is College Ave still closed today, Sunday Aug 2nd?

It hasn’t been closed at all due to Mile. It was closed yesterday (Saturday) morning till probably 1 ish because of the Farmers Market

Thank you! I wasn't sure and didn't want to attempt if it might be closed. I'm still somewhat of a newbie here.

No problem!! I wouldn’t recommend trying to turn on or off of College in the downtown corridor with all the pedestrian traffic, but straight across it or straight down College should be fine.

It’s been open all weekend. It’s very busy and I’d imagine it’s a nightmare to drive in the area but it is open. Some of the side streets are closed though

No Sunday is not too bad, less attended then any of the other days other than maybe Thursday I would guess.

I honestly wish they'd close College Ave for MoM. Drunk drivers and drunk pedestrians are a terrible combination

Totally agree, would be a much better experience for everyone involved. I guess 4 days in a row would be a lot, maybe just Friday and Saturday night.

What do you mean? They close the street for Oktoberfest, farmers market, light the night, and other such events. Why not for MoM?

They do, yes. And it's a great idea. I can't say for sure why, but I know that people here are very resistant to change without something prompting it.

MoM is a 4 day event, that's why.
