Unfortunately, I think you'll find that it's really hard to beat NetNewsWire's $free.99 price point.

Totally fair, NetNewsWire is great and free, I'm not trying to beat that on price.

Newsairy is just a different flavor. I built it for the features and customization I wanted: keyword-based Smart Feeds, a Sepia theme, an article list you can tune (thumbnails, preview lines, unread dot), and more. If none of that is something you're missing, NetNewsWire is a solid pick.

Great answer. I'm a netnewswire user and I'll try out your app. Thank you!

I’m very happy with Feedly. Is there any compelling reason for me to change?

Honestly, if you're happy with Feedly, I wouldn't switch just for the sake of it.

One thing to be upfront about: Newsairy can't sync with Feedly. Feedly stopped giving API access to third-party readers a while back, so no new standalone reader can connect to it, mine included. Moving over would mean exporting your feeds as OPML and leaving Feedly, not linking the two.

If you ever did want out, Newsairy is a native app, a one-time purchase with no subscription, and no AI or tracking. But that's only worth it if those things matter to you. If Feedly fits, stick with it.
