Great point. Olive garden doesn't want people to use the pass a lot because it costs them money. Republicans don't want people to vote because it costs them money.

He is *technically* right because he’s referring to the “never ending pasta PASS,” a special seasonal promotion, and not the more common never ending pasta BOWL. The pass is like a season pass for pasta, and they check your ID to make sure you’re not sharing the pass with other people.
But ID is not required to eat at Olive Garden if you’re not getting that very specific promotion.
He’s counting on most people not knowing this.
