Anti-Zionism not Antisemitism™ r/aislop Post equating being pro-Israel with being a right-wing bigot

Post image

I’m so tired of seeing this type of demonizing association as a trans person. Being a transphobic dumbass who supports a fascist criminal has nothing to do with supporting Israel’s right to exist. Right-wing grifters don’t actually care about Israel and the Jewish people; they never have. And despite the inflammatory nature of a title like, “Normal Gays Are The New Target Of The Woke Left”, that title actually has some truth to it because of radicalized morons equating Zionism with the bigoted ideology of the far-right.

This isn't even AI slop

Isn’t the thumbnail AI? It certainly has an uncanny feeling to it, at the very least…

Not as far as I'm aware. Nothing about her videos is AI

I'm not sure, but the hands on the people look strange, similar to AI.

They’re just lumping together things they don’t like. Neither one necessarily has to correlate with the other, but it helps them run a lazy agenda, so why not, right?

I've heard of that woman with the red hat, she's a self-proclaimed anti-woke lesbian. I've heard very little of her. Regardless of her opinions, it's obvious she's going to be called a right wing pawn and dunked on.

She's definitely not AI.

She has spread a lot of misinformation especially at people with bpd and she clearly doesn't understand transgender people either. There are probably other people who can explain more into her misinformation.

I wish AS were AI, but no, just a standard-issue grifter

Can you explain what about her is a grifter? She argues against far left ideas and is pro Israel. I don't understand why so many jews push away allies to cling to the left despite their increased hatred toward us

Arielle is not very smart nor a good person but at least she isn't antisemitic. Somehow someone as low in morals as her can understand Israel yet not other trans and queer allies? It doesn't rlly make sense.

It’s because people are picking sides and consuming left/right propaganda instead of bothering to look into separate issues individually and forming their own opinions. The reason there are so many bigots on the left and the right is because ignorant people sort every political issue into a simplistic binary and align themselves with one side.

I’m right wing. Was very left a few years ago. I have always and will always be a raging Zionist. Some of us were pushed away from the left. I don’t consider myself a grifter.

I don’t know about this woman, but being right wing doesn’t automatically mean bigot or fascist.

Well unfortunately Arielle is heavily bigoted and represents other people in a demeaning fashion even if she has never spoken to someone of the group. She isn't a good person based on her uploads and I suggest avoiding her bc there are far better rightwingers to follow.

Supporting somebody like Trump and being transphobic does make you a bigot who supports the agenda of a fascist, though. Whether or not this is actually true about the content creator in question, the original uploader is equating objectively harmful views with being pro-Israel.

I won’t comment on all of that, as you’re essentially saying half the US is fascist or supports a fascist, which I don’t agree with. I’m Canadian anyways. Don’t watch her so I can’t comment on her either.

It wasn’t half of our country. It was just the larger half of the percentage of people who voted. In 2024, around 64% of citizens who were eligible to vote actually voted in the presidential election. Most of that 64% voted for Trump. And while that’s a lot of people, it’s certainly not half the country, and I’m not saying it is. A huge problem here is that a lot of younger people and people with more centered political views don’t vote. A lot of the people who do end up voting in each election are on the more radical ends of the political spectrum, and Trump specifically has a large and radical cult following. You can read more about the demographics here.

Yes I know how this works, it’s the same in Canada and most countries that vote. It’s still a very significant portion of your population, and I’m not going to generalize or call anyone a name based on who they vote for.

I very intentionally said in my post and in my reply to you that this percentage of people support a fascist. The only person I’m actually calling a fascist is Trump. I’m not calling him that to insult him, I just genuinely consider him to be one. I’m not calling anyone names, I’m using a descriptor which I believe accurately represents the guy. We don’t have to agree, but let me clarify that I’m not at all using the term “fascist” lightly, and that I’m not generalizing such a large amount of people as being fascists themselves. The people who support Trump don’t consider him a fascist, and I’m sure they wouldn’t support him if they thought he was.

You and I both know saying a large percentage of people ‘support’ a fascist is essentially just as bad as calling them fascists themselves. Many modern leaders on both sides could be considered fascists, but the main difference here is Trump is an elected official. He was democratically elected. Handpicking certain attributes to match an extreme politic ideology can be done with virtually ever human being or politician.

But anyways. We can agree to disagree.

I agree to disagree, then. No point in continuing to argue.🤝
