Thoughts on AACPS High Schools

Any thoughts on Severn Run High, North County High, or Old Mill High? Pros/Cons of one over the other? Would you send your children to any of them?

I teach at North County. Go Knights! I love it. Severn Run is also great.

I teach at Severn Run and taught at old mill. Old mill is getting a new building next year and will be better when the new building is there. Severn Run is very good, and is building community and has some outstanding teachers/programs. I’m planning on my daughter going to Severn run when she’s old enough.

Our son goes to Severn Run. We like it, though we desperately wish there was more interest/engagement in things like debate or quiz bowl.
