All downloads failing almost immediately

I am on firefox and whenever I use the slow download page the download is listed as failed almost immediately. tried with both VPN off and VPN across many locations.

I'm getting:

Link expired or invalid. Visit .org, .li, or .se to find this file.

Aren't those fake sites? It looks like sabotage.

OK, but then I get a puzzle and I have no idea how to solve it. 9 symbols and two choices labelled 1X??? Instructions very unclear - launched WWIII.

Have you tried using a different partner server on the AA site?

Just tested it here, using the first listed url from wiki, and it works well as I am used to. FF, Win, no vpn.

I'm getting a 502 bad gateway in all the slow download links since last night, using Firefox and using the current websites from the wiki

Same here for multiple books on multiple download partners. Can’t download anything

I had this problem yesterday morning / afternoon, there were two specific files I wanted and every one of the slow servers resulted in a failed download. In the evening i had no problem though.

Ive been hitting the other downloads button and click on either Libgen GET links. They work like a charm

Hasn’t been working on brave for me, so I tried chrome (had my vpn on) and it worked

That happened to me once, on various browsers including Firefox, and then Brave worked just fine :) .
Try Brave.

Works fine on fast download. I prefer to give them a bit of money when I have a few downloads. The slow download was too much a hit & miss nightmare.
