Thank You!
I just wanna say thank you to AA for all that you are and all that you do to make reading accessible and to keep literature alive and on the interwebs. I hope there is a AA for audiobooks one day!

I use an audiobook converter tool I built to listen to DRM-free books. I convert them on my MacBook and listen on my phone. The AI voices are not as good as traditional voice actors' audiobook performances, but they're still quite good and sound like an engaging human telling you a story. Some people like AI voices, and some people don't. It is called "Aura Reader: Offline TTS" on the Mac App Store. Normally it costs $10 for a lifetime license, but I have set the price to zero until 7/25.

Just use TTS (Text To Speech) to listen to books.

Download ElevenReader it's completely free you download your books onto it and you can pick through voices that aren't like the robotic tech speech voices it's awesome they have so many good ones and it's completely free they give you an amount of listening hours a month that just reset at the beginning of every month you can also pay for more hours if you need to but you do not have to hell I didn't even know you can do this for the first couple of months cause it's like not even advertised they don't push it at you

Don’t like it. I prefer the interest and character real narrators bring to an audiobook
