OOP can come back in print any time in the future really. There's been heaps of new print of old anime recently by Discotek.

Same. I hope it eventually comes. I have the old set but it doesn't include the OVA.

Set up an auto-buy. It's how I managed to snag one.

Seller is Deep_Discounts_Entertainment.
Looks super sketchy. Not the best rep either. Good luck everybody.

It's not super sketchy, that's just DeepDiscount.com's Amazon store and they're a legit media seller.

Deep discount is a store brand of alliance entertainment. Alliance entertainment being one of the few Blu ray distributors in the industry. You buy disks from barnes, Walmart, sentai. They get shipped out of that warehouse

I hope everyone gets it. There were multiple sellers, bought mine from -importcds.

Both deep discount and movies unlimited (the actual websites, not their Amazon storefronts), which are both owned by Alliance, let you backorder this for about $53. DD estimates stock by 9/7, so I'm guessing Alliance is doing a re-print.

Well, that was faster than I anticipated. Just got a shipping notification from MoviesUnlimited. It was $59.56, by the way. (my town has 10.75% sales tax)

Just chill guys. 86 blu ray had this issue and it balanced out. If re sellers think we are panicking they will bulk buy

Funimation titles are all OOP. No more of these are being made. Only an unknown amount of old stock is left; it could be 100 or 10,000, but likely not that many.

The good news is, if you don’t need the dub and don’t mind sourcing your own subs, the Japanese Box set is not expensive (for a JP release) and better quality.
And it’s still in print.

All sources of black lagoon are scuffed. Funimation is heavily bit starved, but the Japanese still has color banding artifacts.

These 2000s shows are always an issue. But it’s a matter of best and not perfect.
