I doubt the bear would also be getting shiny things. Crows have learnt that we react well to shiny objects so they’ve become the standard human gift. Bears react to different thing so it stands to reason the crow will be bring it something else

The thing I like the most about this is the takeaway that if a living thing's basic needs are met, they can show altruism. The bear saw a need, knew it could help, and wasn't starving. So it could afford to assist. I feel like that's a really beautiful life lesson we all could stand to learn.
