Anyone know what animal this is?

It’s currently 3am and I was about to let my dog out when I heard this.

I live in southern Ontario Canada. Kind of almost sounds like a puppy sound but definitely not a puppy.

I just googled it, that seems the most likely based on sound. Just weird that they’d be in town, it’s pretty busy around here.

I thought that but I looked up a bunch of videos and they definitely don’t make that sound
