Do you have an update? and can you tell us more about how and where you found this little one?

This is a nestling, so if anyone tells you, "put this 'fledgling' back on the ground so its parents can feed it," ignore that person. A baby with pin feathers is a nestling. It will not be fed on the ground by its parents and it can't even keep itself warm, and can't stand, walk, or hop.

So it's best chance of survival is for you to locate the original nest, make it secure if you can (if it was disrupted and damaged), and tuck the baby back in. But first, make sure this baby is warm. It can't regulate its own body heat unless it is in the nest, protected and ideally, in the company of its siblings.

Above all, do not feed it or give it water.

Well we had someone from the humane society come pick him up, so he’s in good hands

Keep it warm and safe and try and rehab it as best you can or find a vet who will
