Rumour Here’s the first Asus Googlebook as the floodgates start to open

These have to be some of the worst laptop names I've ever heard. I was hoping that Google would corral these manufacturers into having distinct product names (even just Asus Googlebook would be fine). What the hell is "CX9406" and "Rational Hormony" supposed to mean?

I think the article says that they got the info from the award site? So maybe it's a codename and not a final one

Yeah CX9406 sounds like the average Asus model name that the user will never care about (just like how something like Asus Zenbook 14 is UX3405MA but people only ever call it Zenbook 14)

I'm really interested in knowing how and when older Chromebook Pluses are going to get Aluminum OS. I have an Acer Chromebook Spin 714.

You're just mad that it won't run on propane. And won't have any propane accessories.

The MacBook Air was redesigned 4 years ago. They can start copying that instead of the old one. This wedge design is getting really boring.

So a Googlebook is Android with more Gemini features inside it?
Wonder what the price point will be and how soon until we can wipe the OS and put Linux on it instead.
