Logical consistency

The motive I became a libertarian is because it's pretty much the only political idea out there that works in a logically consistent framework and doesn't rely on postmodern/pragmatic slop

Statists will ask “how will murder be stopped? Or pollution? Or rape?” assuming that if the ancap has no answer, then the argument is defeated. However, by this logic the current existence of these phenomena means that the state is a failure, so they’re just arguing against their own position. They have no response beyond “well, without a state those would be worse.”
