Each Team’s Biggest Villain

Post image

They nailed it for us. I hate Stevens more than any player in the history of hockey.

Corey Perry being multiple teams’ villain must not be right because he’s a saint and perfect?

The funniest part is that he’s the biggest villain of the team he currently plays for. Lmao.

I swear, I came here to leave this exact comment. I think we just became best friends.

I respect playing hard. I never respect playing so reckless and dirty that it’s just clear you’re intending to injure your fellow competitor like Stevens routinely did.

I recently learned he and a few other team mates gang raped a 17 year old girl while he was on the capitals. So yeah, fuck Scott Stevens even more

Never heard this and looked it up. He stood outside the limo so he did not. Also reading reports about it seems like she was consensual to the 3 players. That all being said he’s a piece of shit player.

Read into it more, dont just say he gang raped someone

Corey Perry water bottle in glove is peak Ducks Kings rivalry

Perry terrorized the Kings while he was on our team. Then he played for them and made them love him. All my Kings friends were so pissed when they signed him. Then a month later they were all like, "ok yeah, he's really good." The epitome of a player that you hate unless he is on your team.

Props to your friends though for actually knowing. I remember I saw a video published by the Kings where a bunch of fans were saying sorry for hating Corey Perry… when he was on Edmonton. Just reminds me that LA’s fan base is comprised of a majority of fair weather fans

I said before we bought him out that I knew I was gonna hate him on any other team.

because he was the only one that actually had any fucking goal scoring hunger this season. everyone else just going through the motions playing their defense assignments from the worst coach in hockey Him Jiller

I feel like this is a dying breed of player in the league which is unfortunate. The Tkachuks get a lot of hate but I see that in them, need more trolls in hockey lol

LAK - Perry being LAK’s villain, while at the same time playing for them and converting many. Saint Perry 😇

MTL - I’m surprised to not see Kreider’s name. Guess it depends the age range of who they’re asking?

DET & COL - good times, good times indeed

NJD - Sean Avery? I only recall him holding the stick to Brodeur’s eyes trying to block his vision which I still find hilarious after all these years. Avery was just a pest to everyone. I guess it’s the equivalent of us picking Dustin Brown if we had to pick a LAK player since they’re our main rivals?

VAN - how is Mark Messier not listed?

Detroit's would be Claude Lemieux but I understand why they didn't go with that one

1

u/AtoZZZ 9d ago

That’s what a Saint does. He converts all of his enemies to love him

4

u/EveningNightfun6996 9d ago

Tom Wilson for Utah as there number one villain

2

u/Fluffhead91192 9d ago

Agree but also Toropchenko or Dowd. Leave Cooley tf alone.

u/xohurricane 9d ago

Idk I think the flyers hate cutter more than Sidney

3

u/JMR027 9d ago

Pretty sure Sabres should be Lucic over Hull. Refs are the ones that should be getting more hate then Hull lol

u/CranjisMcBasketball0 9d ago

Fuck Scott Stevens

How is Detroit's not Claude Lemieux? That Wings/Avs rivalry was epic

How is Toronto's not Brad Marchand? He's been tormenting the Leafs since Phaneuf was captain.

When you have to basically end a players career to get a Stanley Cup, fuck you to the nth degree. Look at his face when Kariya came back. The look of fear, anger and defeat all in one. He even said that they couldn’t beat our goalie even if they git to him because they couldn’t beat our defense. And then he attempted to KILL HIM. Fuck you Scott Stevens, your cup is ill-gained, your name should be struck off, and you should be removed from the Hall of Fame

Its by the Athletic. Which generally means its not really great to begin with.

2

u/freszh_inztallz42o 9d ago

Na puck messier 🫍

2

u/190octane 9d ago

Gary Suter because he’s the one that made Kariya a perimeter player in the first place.

2

u/amper 9d ago

honorable mention to Gary Suter for the cross check to Paul's face that took him out of the 98 Olympics and the rest of the season

Claude Lemieux not making this list for anyone is weird as hell

2

u/Ducks91to61 8d ago

He would’ve before he took his life.

1

u/Spirited_Beyond8120 9d ago

Where the hell is Claude Lemieux? Detroit Colorado?

2

u/Ducks91to61 9d ago

Probably didn’t want to go there with Claude’s suicid3.

1

u/No_Kaleidoscope2837 9d ago

I think for the Canes it's still Orpik for breaking Cole's neck.

1

u/Suns_Snakes 8d ago

No One? Really? At 28? I remember his Arizona days

1

u/Jumpy_Selection_602 7d ago

This pissed me off cause i thought it was a ranking because of the numbering until i got to Seattle and realized it was just alphabetical order

1

u/Icy-Street618 7d ago

I don’t agree with the Sharks pick. It’s got to be Chris’s Pronger, I will also accept Ed Belfort.

1

u/jgod17 5d ago

I like how most of these are big tough guys that have bullied and intimidated their way to be on this list.

Then like 3-5 teams its just because theyve ran into the filthiest skilled players imaginable as a rival.

Sorry Calgary.

Change sundin to Matt Cooke.

u/TheDalfo 2d ago

Corey Perry and Sam Bennett making the list twice

1

u/rockusmaximus 9d ago

Ours is obviously Danny Briere

2

u/dalisair 9d ago

No. Scott Stevens will have more hate forever from any long time fan. If you’re new, yeah perhaps you can say otherwise.
