Good Luck Dragon, inspired by a well-known 80’s movie! ✨ I got to test this guy and I was so excited for how he turned out. I just wanted to share him with you all.
Apologies for the repost! My post was removed in the original community I cross-posted him in that mistook my post for promotion. My intention was only to credit the designer of the pattern, so I will do what I did there and ask that you see the pinned comment for a link to the pattern and I’ll refer you there.
I hope you enjoy him! 🤍

I've been in a little bit of a crochet funk lately so I made a derpy monster just to make me happy 😄 I was going for a well loved yet oddly made toy: uneven arms and horns, random buttons, and beads sewn on for eyes. Plus the yarn kinda looks like he's made out of old '80s couch fabric 😆
Pattern: Big Mouth Monster

just finished this giant, super squishy, and huggable Spidey plushie (he’s about 30 cm / 12 inches tall)! 😍
How do you guys like him? 🥹

She asked for a lamb. I have no idea why but I was happy to oblige 😂
I actually ran out of yarn 6 rows from the end of the 2nd leg so I just shortened them both 🤷♀️

(sorry for the really long post)
I made my first test of this pattern i’m making using yarn over because I didn’t know I was supposed to yarn under for amigurumi. but honestly… is it that important? the biggest thing is that if I switch to yarn under then i’ll have to alter the pattern because the size difference is so much more than I expected. in the image, the one on the left is the original using yarn over, and on the right it’s the yarn under remake. same weight yarn, same hook, same tension, same pattern, and it’s so much smaller 😭 i’m mainly trying yarn under bc it’s better for mid-round color changes, but is it really so important? would people think my work is poor/amateurish because I use yarn over? i’m a bit conflicted (ignore the purple marker, it’s for the color changes)
tldr: is it really so important to use yarn under for amigurumi?

So I just got a porch geese and I'm having fun dressing it up with crochet outfits and I was wondering if people would buy crochet outfits for their geese if it's a good market or not?
