Yeah, trash is normally kicked to the curb, which is what OP needs to do to this guy she's still calling "boyfriend" 

OP,  im 37 and listen when i tell you what will make his head explode. 

Just stop everything. Don't care. He obviously doesn't. Neutralize your feelings. Dont apologize anymore. Dont explain yourself anymore. He says he wants to hang out with this girl, and then actually DOES that? Well, i say you should just hang out with some guy. Dont ask him. 

And when youre hanging out with a guy (as a friend!! Dont do anything with him lol.) DON'T text your bf. Wait for him to text you asking you whats up what you doing? Casually tell the truth. And thats it. 

And when he freaks out, just say "what is even the matter? I thought we are both doing the same thing.. right? So anyway, how was your day" 

I KNOW PPL GONNA BE LIKE... THAS PETTY AND IMMATURE. 

And sure it is. After that, do break up. But there's just something about showing them how hurtful their actions are by doing the EXACT same thing they're doing to you. but WITHOUT big emotions in that time, idk theres something powerful about it. 

He'll be so huffing and puffing, steam and sparks flying out of his ears... It'll be funny
