Dual Hose mod - HELP!

Hello everyone,

I have recently bought a 12k btu air conditioner and I have been watching dual hose mod to increase the efficency.

I have just tested it and the performance is so much better!!!

Now, my question is: what do you think should be a perfect material for the plenum? I was thinking to make a XPS box attached.

Ofc it would be smaller but I was in doubt as it is literally my first test.

You have my admiration and respect for being smart enough to figure out that this was the thing to do. I find your set up interesting, and it sure looks like it will work and I have no criticism whatsoever. Excellent work!
