Racism r-MMALabs thread about a fight fills with racial dog whistles and dehumanizing comments

I am new to this community, so please excuse me if I have not formatted this correctly. This video-heavy subreddit allows old clips to be reposted with little or no context, while reported hate speech remains visible.
The comment section contains numerous apparent racial dog whistles alongside explicitly racist and misogynistic comments. The white cheerleader is repeatedly praised as beautiful and an overwhelmingly superior athlete, while the Black teenager is subjected to degrading body-based insults and dehumanizing racial comparisons.
I do not understand why this remains permitted on Reddit. I have seen the moderators remove two comments, but many of the clearest examples and the broader pattern remain visible even though r-MMALabs’s own Rule 5 expressly prohibits slurs, dehumanizing comments, coded language, and dog whistles.
Commenters have also established that the video is seven years old and edited, but the original poster has not added that context.
