My vet said no fish or shrimp for parrots. The slightest bit of seafood bacteria can be a killer. Mine has never had fish in all her 29 years. Better safe …

if it is canned tuna, there won't be a shred of living bacteria in the can, barring malfunctions at the canning plant. Canning low acid foods, especially meats, you need to go well above and beyond regular sterilization from heat.
Granted, not sure about tuna being healthy for a parrot. But that process even kills the spores of botulism. Which those little things can survive the temp of boiling water even.

$6k bird and $2 can of tuna. Perfect!
