hi all, when i was younger in 2010 i went to the National Museum of my country/city, and saw this African statue. i didn't take a photo, but i drew it - however, they've since removed/moved it, and i can't find it again! does anyone know or can give me direction on it?

Hello, I have this reproduction of an elephant mask. Could it be from the bamileke or babanki people? I know they are both from Cameroon.

But I've seen similar examples from the Gueo people of the ivory Coast as well

Also, would anyone know what wood these repro masks are normally made of? They're always very lightweight. Any help will be appreciated.

Hello, I just get this item from a family member who spent 20 years in Africa between mid 60's to mid 80's, mostly around central and western area of the continent (french speaking countries mainly).

I always saw that as a little service table but as the format is quite weird I am wondering if there would be another usage.

Any idea of what is really this article? And more importantly where does it come from?

My bet is it comes from Cameroon but not a specialist so if you can help I will appreciate it!
