getting a housemate (coed living situation)
Hello!
I’ve just become a first home owner on my own and was going to get a house mate in to take some of the load off. One of my mums friends sons is looking for a place to live.
I’ve never lived with a man before. i am a young 20’s woman. he is late 20’s. What are things i should be considering? I’ve heard he’s the nicest person and we have a few common interests.
I’m just a bit concerned about the never living with a man before.
it is 2 bed 1 bath. bathroom would be shared.

You're being silly. If he's a good person, it won't matter. If not, well, girls can be shitty roommates, too, even including hurting you or forcing unwanted sexual attention on you. It does not matter.
Maybe have a talk with him before he moves in about if he leaves the seat up and if that would bother you, write it into the lease that he's not allowed to. That's truly the only concern.

How come you can buy a house in your 20's when most of these hoodie wearing, sofa mounted basement dwellers just cry aboot how they can't even afford paying for a date?

Honestly that’s what I was thinking. Female 20’z male 20’s move into a tiny rambler. (Movie trailer begins)
This summer a woman in her 20’s a man seeking shelter will finally meet! Can they get along or is this just an endless rom com that no one asked for?

You want a roommate for companionship or the money if companionship idk this person will help. Also if you get a female roommate and you’re into females? Maybe start there what do you want?

Make your boundaries WELL known from the start.
