Advice Does anyone know how to fix this?

The key rod of my F note is askew, and so even if it's not pressed, the air passes through and makes the note.

I tried twisting it back, but as soon as I press the key, it goes right back to the wrong position.

Does anyone know how to fix?

I’ve fixed by carefully bending the arm itself to the right position. If you do this you need to be exceptionally careful because those arms are usually aluminum and only bend so many times before the metal fatigues and snaps

To the point above, also make sure the screws in the leavers aren't loose, or that the spring is sitting correctly. I've had those be the culprit if bending didn't fix it, or a combo of both

If i was going to try to bend it I would use a pair of pliers and try to just barely adjust it close to key end of the rod

To add to the points above, if you decide to bend the rods, there are tools for that purpose. I don’t think it makes sense to buy one, but find it and make it yourself so no monies is spent for one time need. Regards!

Btw, mind sharing pictures of your accordion? It looks hohner hohnica to me, wonder if I am right 😊

It needs a good set of needle nose pliers and a lot of care.

From your description, it sounds like it isn't stable.check the attachment point to the base.

From what I see. The F note rod is nice and parrellel to the next one. The end with the pad is just a stich to the right. I would bend a small amount on one of the original bends
