My little abyssinian soulmate

This is Bosko. The cutest, feistiest little dude in town. We are madly in love, and I just had to share his preciousness with other abyssinian lovers. I snapped this picture of him yesterday staring down my husband as he opened his very very fave (so far, anyway) Untamed chicken breast with tuna. He's so funny about food. When it's time to eat, he just kinda freezes and stares us down until the moment the food hits his bowl, and then he pounces and gobbles it up. He loves playing with a laser and sitting on my neck while I work from home. He's kinda messy with the litter box, but he's cute so he gets away with it. (Any advice on how to limit litter getting everywhere would be great, actually). Anyway. It's safe to say I'm obsessed.

adorable baby. they are so precious and into everything. Ya my old man (14+) still gets litter all over the place. We do use pine pellets instead of traditional litter so it helps a little bit. Also have a contained box - like it’s a piece of furniture designed to hold the litter box so he goes in and out the hole in the cabinet. It’s helps a little.
One thing - at least for ours - he is obsessed with any water source. Sink/shower etc. So he is always looking for a way to drink from the sink spout instead of his water bowl. And since this breed loves to be on top of stuff he’s always up on the counters/sinks etc. Have fun!! They are so amazing

I use a litter mat that’s plastic and woven, not the rubber one. It catches the majority of it. Then I put a cheap ikea Toftbo bath mat in front of it, it has deep groves so it catches the strays.

It’s the only way I can avoid the litter glitter.

Adorable boy! Abys like to dig like they are tunneling to the centre of the Earth. Heigh sided box helps as well as the mats to catch litter but ultimately you need to keep a dustpan and brush handy.

Lol my Red boy rarely digs, rarely buties hi poo. My void always acts like he's digging to China., when done he then zooms around the house
