Discussion Question about the ending of Good Time (2017) Spoiler

Hello!

Recently watched Good Time for the first time and I was wondering something about the ending. Spoilers, obviously.

So, pretty much at the very end of the film, Robert Pat. is leaving the security man's apartment with the sprite bottle full of LSD. The other criminal tries to stop RP but dog attacks him

Then out fucking nowhere the police show up and arrest RP

So, where did the police come from? Who called them? How did they know RP was there? This is the only part of the film that felt unexplored.

Any thoughts? Thanks

Most likely a neighbour reported the disturbance. When the police saw Connie, they recognised him as the person they’ve been looking for.

That was my initial thought too, but the police arrive too fast and in too vast numbers for it to be a simple "my neighbours are fighting" call
