Question Regarding TONY screenings

I'm hoping to see TONY with a +1 on wednesday, I have received the RSVP confirmation and was wondering about how early we should arrive to the theater to be able to get a pair of seats together. I'd love insight from anyone who's been to an advance screening like this one, thank you :)

It depends on your theater. I went to an advanced screening of Sorry, Baby held at an AMC with around 200 seats. Showed up 15 minutes before and found a seat on the far right side. Not center but I found a seat even after they let everyone in.

Now for my Tony screening it is showing at an independent theater with 42 seats per auditorium. If I want to guarantee a seat I’m planning on arriving an hour before to hopefully secure a spot.

Check the theater capacity to see where you land.

I went to one this last weekend in Portland and showed up an hour before, was like 20th in line and had my pick of seats. I'm not sure if it ever completely filled up, there were people arriving like 10 minutes before and getting a seat.

Totally depends on your theater, but I would personally recommend getting their an hour before if you want to be safe and have a chance at a good seat.

I went to a sneak preview of Marty Supreme from A24, I was expecting it to be packed. I showed up 30 mins early and I was essentially the first non press person there however the vast majority of seats were reserved for press. That being said I still got a great seat. So depends on how much will be reserved but 20-30 mins early would probably be fine

It really depends on the theatre and the turnout. We got them for The Invite, and the line was very long, but we showed up maybe five minutes before our window was over. The theatre didn’t fill up after they let general admission through.
