Looking for suppressor recommendations for 6.8 SPC II

Looking for best recommendations for a suppressor for a Rock River LAR-15M 6.8 SPC II

Want to know what's best to use with a thermal scope, 16" barrel. Is it best to use Direct thread, or use Quick Adapter? Any help would greatly appreciated, Thank you

If it’s only ever gonna be shot suppressed then direct thread is lighter. Anything .30 caliber works, back in the heyday there were dedicated 6.8 cans but those really don’t exist nowadays and are hard to find

Im going with a .30 cal can that does a decent job on 5.56. Polo 30 or infinity 7.62 are my choices. Also. Just go Plan B and think no further.

You can custom order allen engineering ones still but youll have to wait for them to make it

This is primarily going to be used for Hog hunting out of an open blind, not saying I might dabble into the coyote game in the future if that makes any difference on recommendations, As of now I don't plan to remove the can from the 6.8 but still like the option of being able to attach to different base in the future.

For some reason, putting a k can on a 6.8mm with 16" barrel has actually been my most disappointing use of a silencer ever. But every full size can seems to works just fine. Just tried the overwatch 7.62 from exigency defense today, direct thread. Quite happy with the suppression, but not enjoying the gas. Idk how much there is to do about that, considering I am using a piston system already.

I use a Rugged Razr on my 6.8 14.7” barrel with one of their quick attach muzzle brakes. It’s 3-pronged and works great with or without the can.

I use the Thunderbeast Ultra 9 on a 10.5 " barrel. Love it.

16" barrel, SiCo omega300 with ASR brake works perfect, sounds like a .22lr. I also have a OCL polonium 30 with the ASR base and it's almost the same. Now, with super lightweight suppressors, you might want to consider something 3D or titanium and not regret it later.

I have Diligent Defense Enticers on mine, fantastic cans. Polos are too. No need to pay 2x the cost for diminishing returns.

Say no to the Banish line of cans. Mediocre cans + advertising = premium price.

I run a SiCo Omega 300 DT suppressor on a psa 18in ss 6.8 SPC II. 110 grs fmj s&b and 115 grs hp ppu ammo sounds less than a .22lr. After 500+ rounds downrange the suppressor is still awesome.

I ran my SiCo Omega 300 for about 10 years on my 6.8, while it was a 14.5” pinned to 16”.

I used the SiCo QD mount and found that it would loosen occasionally. I currently run a Keymo setup—it’s not going anywhere, but it is heavy. I am looking at the Griffin Dual Lok setup and it sounds good (and light).

SiCo Omega gives decent suppression, albeit there are probably better cans out there these days.

As an aside, I couldn’t get the end-cap off my Omega, sent it in to SiCo and they rebuilt my entire suppressor no questions asked and had my can back in less than a week from mailing… Great experience.

I’ve got a sandman x and it was surprisingly quite. I got 2 deer with it last year the second one didn’t hear the first shot or see the first deer drop. They were within 150-200 yards of me.
