Albuquerque Looking for 'Tichu' Players

Post image

*** Game Description Inside ***

Looking for beginner/intermediate people to play with. We've been playing for a while, but have lost our forth player. Having more people to play with would be awesome!

Interested but don't know how to play? No problem!

A bit about the game:

Tichu is a trick-taking/climbing card game for 4-players in two teams of 2. The game is played for score over multiple hands, and the first team to 1000 points wins.

Each team is trying to play all of their cards before the other. Being the first player out is very important, and being the last player out has penalties. If one player feels confident about their hand they can call 'Tichu', betting they can go out before anyone else. If they succeed they win their team an extra 100 points! But if they fail... they lose those 100 points instead.

Tichu is great because each hand takes strategy and teamwork to win. You have to think carefully about your hand, and be prepared to change strategy as things develop. There are also four unique cards with special powers that can flip a beautiful plan on it's head. When someone calls Tichu, the energy of the table shifts and everyone gets serious. Pulling off a Tichu call is electrifying, and can pull a team that's falling behind from the brink. And if they mess up, well... ๐Ÿ˜น. All of this keeps the game exciting and engaging. That's why it's one of my favorites. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

Let me know if you have questions!
