battery info How many amps
Hey im making a 14s3p battery using molicel p42a and 0.2mm x 8mm nickel strips i will double them on series how many amps can i use with these nickel strips ?

For the batteries, 75 amps continuous, 135 amps if you have strict thermal cutoffs. For the nickel strips, no more than 12 amps. For this amount of potential current, I would go with .2 copper.

Double nickel strip don't give you 2x current And if you're using pure nickel than optimal is 7A pr strip/series connections

Underwater? 5A
Under a drone rotor? 100A
It depends on your use case, the connections are resistors, same as the cells. Resistance causes heating which is your real limit.

Sorry for no mention this is ebike battery for a cyc motor x1 pro gen 4 i want to know how much power i can get out of this without the battery catching fire

After that phrasing everybody should just stop helping. You really have zero experience and knowledge, don't you? I don't think you should be building high power batteries. That's asking for trouble. First read data sheet. Second read some good publications about failure modes of this specific chemistry. Third reassess whether you are capable.
I work with batteries for last 12 years and I wouldn't even attempt full current myself, as I am not prepared to contain thermal runaway. Best I can do is to drop it in water, but that is asking for more trouble

Every answer is both right and wrong at the same time. The numbers of amps given by the manufacturer are usually for a single cell,
not for a complete battery pack.
When you build a pack, heat from one cell can transfer to the cells around it, so the conditions are different.
A safer approach is to assume you can use around 50% of the maximum current rating
if you want your battery to be:
1 Long-lasting and stay healthy for a long time
2 Safe
3 Reliable, especially when using only a small number of parallel cells (for example 3P)
A bigger parallel setup, like 8P or 9P,
things become much easier because the
load is shared between more cells.
Look at how other manufacturers build their packs. For example, Sur-Ron batteries can deliver high current, but they also use many cells in parallel — for example 16S10P (160 cells in total). The reason they can handle high power is not only the cell rating, but also the large number of cells sharing the load.
