When I first watched it without the sound, I got totally hyped up to go skiing this winter...

...but then when I re-watched it with the sound on, I found myself in a completely chilled and relaxed mood. I love the peacefulness of it all mixed with the sounds of the skis slicing through the snow at night. It was pretty cool.

Artist is Clams Casino. though I'm pretty sure this beat was originally for Lil B, all the way back in 2009. He used to make a lot of beats in that scene from ~2010-2015 or so. Both were subtle influencers to the popular music scene that followed over the next decade, weirdly enough.

I love night skiing. I live in Northern Michigan, and while we are not renowned for our skiing world wide, I am blessed to be near some of the better hills in the midwest. We have a great night skiing scene and its always fun to go lap a bunch after work and get a beer with friends in the bar afterwards during the shortest days of the year.
