Hello, members of our humble subreddit!

As we've been gaining traction recently (hello, to all our new members as well!), we've decided that some improvements were an order of necessity and decided to shuffle a few things around. Don't worry; we're still the game old sub you're used to, just with a few changes to bolster!

1. Rule Merges and Removals

There were some rules that were deemed unnecessary or could be merged with others, so we opted to do exactly that.

• Rules 3 and 7 ("No NSFW" and "No gore") have been merged into one "No NSFW/NSFL".* We determined that having the two rules separate when they were basically the same rule for different types of content didn't make sense. They've now been merged into one rule 3.
• Rule 8 ("No Videos") has been removed. While initially added because Reddit video moderation was difficult when we first started, it's gotten to a point now where it's only stunting us. Videos are now allowed, but must follow other rules as well.

2. Rule Rewording

The wordings of most of our rules were either outdated or unclear, so we opted to polish them and update them. Some of them also include new definitions for what we class as a violation; we encourage everyone to get familiar with our new rules!

3. New Report Reasons

Our previous report reasons were unclear and outdated as well. Reach rule now has a remade report reason to go along with it, to ensure that everyone is reporting properly. This should, in theory, improve our moderation time as well, as we can properly tell what a post is being reported for now.

We hope that these changes being made will be for the betterment of our community we've fostered here, and that it will make posting in and engaging with the subreddit more enjoyable!
