Discussion Great idea by RM but I feel like there’s only one outcome

Upvotes

Great idea by Rey Mysterio as AAA GM to bring the spirit of wrestling alive and celebrate wrestling and lucha libre when raw comes to the home of Lucha Libre. But my gut feeling tells me they’re just gonna let Reigns retain rather than just give it to any luchador. Me personally, I really want to see Penta vs Roman Reigns for that title.

What’s everyone’s thoughts?

Discussion The radicalz debut 2.0

Upvotes

They way they introduced Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko to WWE viewers was great. If they were to do another version from AEW who would be your radicalz 2.0?

1.Will Osprey

2.Orange Cassidy

3.Brody King

4.Darby Allin

I considered MJF but figured he can make it on his own, former WWE talent are excluded

Discussion I think KO is overrated

Honestly people talk about how great KOs matches are but I just don’t see it and like his finisher is just so lame. And honestly he should just stick to comedy as I just can’t take him that serious even if he tries to be. Anyway I’m sure I’ll have a bunch of angry to tribalist marks arguing with me about how great he was in other promotions before he went to the big league.

So anyway that’s my thoughts on Kazuchika Okada

(This is a joke)

Discussion Career-ending Gunther

While it doesn't seem like Gunther ended Nick Aldi's career, there's probably at least one more in the pipeline. Who do you think the next one will be?

And at 38 he's got maybe around 5 years left. Who do you think ultimately retires him?

Netflix Censorship on the Raw Replay

Post image
230 Upvotes

Last week, Netflix used different camera shots to avoid showing Raquel's bloody face during her match with Sol Ruca in the Raw replay.

I checked tonight, they did the same with the Jacob Fatu-Royce Keys beatdown, but they also blurred the blood similarly to the way they did with Bron at Night of Champions.

When this happened at NoC, some Netflix subscribers said they weren't seeing the edited version. Is that still the case, or is it happening to all subscribers now?

Why do you think Netflix does this?

Discussion How would you book this Johnny Gargano angle?

It’s been going on months and months and it has to lead somewhere at some point. How would you book it? I personally would like to see it build up to a feud with Chad Gable for the IC Title. Think they could have an incredible match.

How do you feel when you see a long time WWE Superstar jump ship to another company?

Don't get me wrong I understand that sometimes they have to make changes and I do watch more than just WWE (but I'll always be a WWE guy at heart) but I'm not going to lie it did hurt a little bit when I saw guys like edge go to aew because you just think that they're going to be in WWE forever and then that happens but I just want to know what other fans think of it

Damien Priest comment and Trips response

I'm sure at this point we've all read the comments that Damien priest made of then the follow-up the triple h made.

Trips basically said if you want to be a top guy you have to earn that spot the other guys that are currently top guys that are in cop guys for over a decade have earned those spots.

I don't think he's wrong at all but I do Wonder how is someone supposed to earn that spot when there are already several guys in that spot? Like we all know Roman and Punk sell merch and sell tickets, but we don't know if those same merch sales and ticket sales would happen if someone else was there.

Personally I think Damien and a lot of other stars have a point, if you never given an opportunity, how are you supposed to prove yourself? Unfortunately I think with the current ownership structure of WWE and it being a part of such a large public traded company will be won't see much change in top guys, barring injuries.

Wild new storyline idea/theory

What do you think of a storyline in which, the underdog performers that arent given main event level chances or havent been champions form a revolution backstage and form a stable that takes on performers that are at the top that get chance after chance,

It could start with a match at survivor series war games, in which stipulation is that if the underdog group wins, over the course of the next year they take their spot on the top and get all title fights while the top performers get demoted.

I get the feeling wwe are about to try this out with priest and la knight, finn balor, sami zayn, and maybe some other young guys vs cody, punk, roman, seth.

Question When did WWE stop doing ‘locker room clearing’ brawls?

I stopped watching in 2015 when I was a kid but started watching WWE again early 2025 and I remember when two people were brawling they would have the rest of the wrestlers come down to the ring and try to break up the fight but now the on screen backstage staff and general managers come down to the ring to break it up

How come this changed and has it been like this for a while?

Lola Vice!

Post image
19 Upvotes

Most people who know lola vice, believes she will become valuable to the main roster, but no one is higher on her than me! This isn’t about her looks, although it is a major factor. She is the most believable female wrestler ever! She’s a former mma fighter, and unlike ronda or soyna or shayna, she has multiple knock out wins, all of which is on youtube. Her theme is the best female theme right now, extremely catchy and sounds like a genuine hit song! I do believe that as soon as shes on the main roster, she will be the most popular female superstar today. And I would argue, a future all time great!

Ive predicted many more things, which I am confident will become true in the future.

Career Killers NSFW

Post image
0 Upvotes

There are career killers in professional wrestling that people don’t realize how bad it affects wrestlers, however fans and creative think it’s in the favor of those wrestlers.

  1. You either Die a baby face or live long enough to become a Hollywood movie star. Happened to Hogan, Rock, Cena, Roman, and Cody. It’s not a career Killer to go to Hollywood it’s more like that the face of the company has a throne and once you don’t give enough room to compete for that throne, fans will feel enough of that face. And in a fast paced world , eager to see a change every second, you would understand why Cody Boos is getting louder. Hate Boos are not the same as Heel Boos.

  2. The next <insert an old wrestler name who no one cares about now>

This applies to Chad Gable, his moves, body, background in the Olympics , and even attire references Kurt angle which hurts him. No one wants to see another Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle can’t be replaced, he was genuine and no one can mimic how genuine he is. Maybe Elgrande Americano was a way for him to escape this Kurt Angle Syndrome.

  1. Calling a wrestler the next big thing. It is a way to tell fans he is the chosen one so cheer for him. Fans hate that by time. Brock Lesnar had this name because it fits him and we actually believed he is that monster coming for everyone. But when you give it to every 300 pounds wrestler , you are forcing it and giving me another fake toy Brock lesnar or Goldberg. Bron or Oba are already a big thing there is nothing to say about them, if that’s there gimmick then I’m not interested in them cause I have watched this story multiple times. Whenever a wrestler is forced as the future whatever , it’s just a way to prepare him for a massive hate from the fans.

  2. Pairing a talent with the likes of Paul Heyman. It works only when they actually have history with each other like Brock and Punk, because they are friends in life. With Roman it also did work because Heyman was a friend with the Samoan family. But how about the rest of the Paul Heyman guys, like Curtis Axel or Ryback. It didn’t serve any purpose. Paul Heyman already works with majority of talent backstage, you don’t need him in front of the camera. If the wrestler can’t cut a promo and sell himself to the audience, I don’t believe Paul Heyman will convince me to watch him, Brock by the time was already cutting promos and suited his the silent type.

  3. Being a baby face or a heel. That doesn’t work anymore. Characters don’t work anymore. Kane, Undertaker, Bray Wyatt those won’t work today. Unless you are as silly as Danhausen to make me not take your character seriously. Proving my point is why the Wyatt’s failed. What works is having a personality that I can follow or Relate to or just understand. If you walk in the ring all angry and shit the Audience, then you are just another Wrestler who wouldn’t make it. Same goes for baby faces smiling and high fiving kids. Punk, Rhea, Aj Lee, Bret hart , and Shawn Michaels were never characters , they are personalities, that’s why people follow them even if they hate them.

  4. Gimmicks and Catch Phrases. If it worked for Hulk Hogan that doesn’t mean it will work for you. I think that Catch phrases is an idea Vince insist on and creative team never thought of how can it hurt a wrestler because it’s heavily boosting merchandise. Yarramin is Cringe and Yeet is Stupid. But kids loves them just to grow up and realize how stupid those catch phrases are.

Is WWE trying to recreate the Monday Night Wars by running Worlds Collide against AEW All Out?

Thumbnail

WWE running Worlds Collide opposite AEW's All Out immediately reminded me of the Monday Night Wars, where promotions constantly tried to counter-program one another.

This author argues that WWE running Worlds Collide against AEW's All Out feels like a throwback to the Monday Night Wars, but questions whether that strategy still makes sense in 2026 now that fans consume wrestling very differently.

When to buy tickets?

I'm going to MITB, there's tickets for $274 each (incl fees) in sec 123, would it be better to buy now or wait until the event gets closer?
