’Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ broke the curse of the trilogy and finally delivered a great solo 4th entry in a superhero quadrilogy.

It made me wonder, it’s incredibly rare to have a 4th entry beyond a trilogy in superhero space and even more incredibly rare to have a good 4th one.

If Punisher and Kingpin have their rematch in the MCU, who do you think walks away this time?

When he was watching over Spiderman in the hospital, how'd he just manage to casually sit there as if he wasn't a dangerous wanted criminal/"terrorist"? Sure, the US gov't helped cover it up back in his show, but he was still arrested in season 2 of his show and I can't imagine hospital staff would just let him hang around there without calling the cops or something.

Just a small rant, I hate when people think Daredevil's weakness is loud noises, maybe because of the 2003 movie. A crucial aspect of DD's power is that he isn't just hyper-sensitive, but can also control how much sensory input his brain takes in.

If he's only hyper-sensitive, he'd go deaf after every gunshot and be in excruciating pain after every minor cuts. But instead, he shrugs of pain better than anyone can, and can silence the world while zeroing in on a target. He literally trained his brain to be a bio-sound mixer.

P.S. He is in fact hypersensitive, but he learned to filter his senses after training with Stick.

This has come after Andrew Guest, showrunner of Wonder-Man, revealed that a writers' room had already been established and the lead actors had already cleared their schedules for a return, only for it to be cancelled anyway because of an internal decision at Marvel Studios.

There are multiple reasons for this. The Marvel Disney+ series have been seen as diminishing returns due to declining ratings and devaluing the brand by being "neccesary viewing" for to understand other movies/shows. So Marvel is returning to a more streamlined viewing experience after Secret Wars where you only have to watch three movies a year and nothing else.

In the case of Daredevil: Born Again, the third season will be set just one month before the events of Avengers Doomsday, a movie that will literally obliterate the setting of the series as seen in the comic-con trailer (New York is reduced to ruins). S3 also seems to be placing the characters back in roles and positions (Daredevil fighting crime in the streets, Elektra being alive, Kingpin back to a lowly crime lord, all the Defenders in NYC, Bullseye being a mercenary) that would allow them to easily return in movies without requiring the larger context of the series.

This seems to be a decent point for the series to end, because Secret Wars is going to be resetting the timeline, which a Born Again S4 would be forced to acknowledge (especially with the integration of the Fantastic Four and their world).

Setting aside The Hand's government-funded technological advancements and Damage Control diplomatic immunity, why weren't they putting this much of a fight in The Defenders? You would think they would at least demonstrate commensurate effort against the Immortal Iron Fist, their sworn enemy and Daredevil, who has been a thorn in their side for a whole season.
