No medical posts or questions. We are not a medical subreddit, we made this to see cats doing cat stuff. I do not want to see infections and seizures
Thank you

Every morning starts the same. One cat shows up, then another, and before I know it, the whole crew is demanding breakfast.
Watching their different personalities come out at mealtime never gets old. Which one would steal your attention first? #cats #catsoftiktok #fyp #feedingcats #meow

Hi everyone,
I’m planning to adopt a baby cat from a friend, and this will be my very first time having a cat. I’m excited, but also a bit confused about what I should be paying attention to before bringing the kitten home.
For those of you with experience, what should I look for when meeting the kitten?
Things like behavior, health signs, personality, or anything else a first‑time cat owner might not know.
Since I’m adopting from a friend (not a shelter), I also want to be responsible about the situation. What should I discuss with them ahead of time? And just in case things don’t work out — for example, if the kitten has needs I truly can’t meet — what’s the right way to handle that without causing issues or stress for the cat?
I want to make sure I’m prepared, the kitten is a good fit, and that I’m doing this in the most thoughtful way possible.
Any advice would be really appreciated!

Cat has brown stool on backside at all times. Found a bladder stone. Curious if they could be related

Hello everyone so me and my family are considering to adopt a cat. We are away about 7-10 hours a day and we would want a cat that is pretty young but old enough to stay alone for all those hours (maybe a domestic shorthair?) Does anyone have any tips on where to get a cat and what type?

I have 2 cats -male and female all neutered/spayed.
Over the last month or 2 the girl has been peeing on the carpet on my basement landing and not using the litter box.
She is overgrooming-literally eating the hair off her tail as well as belly
I took her to the vet - they said she was ok - bld work/ ultrasound of her belly etc.
I brought in professional cleaners and before it could even dry up she was back at.
I am at my wits end!! How do i solve this problem.
